Only Lovers Left Alive

Adam, a talented sixties-style musician, lives in gloomy Detroit. Despondent over where the world is heading, he is increasingly considering suicide. His mysterious, stylish girlfriend Eva, who loves poetry and likes to dine with Christopher Marlowe, lives in warm Tangier. Adam and Eve are both vampires, and more than a thousand years old. A few centuries earlier, they agreed not to kill for fresh blood and so must get their supply in hospital. Not long ago, they decided to live apart. But it didn’t last long, and Eva is already getting off the plane in Detroit. They both feel something dangerous is about to happen. Arriving in town soon is Eva’s younger sister – a wild and crazy vampire who can’t control her emotions. Unexplained deaths begin in the city, so Adam and Eve must flee to Algeria. The problems have only just begun, and it looks like the end of the world will come after all, and death is not far … Death? Isn’t it too soon?
