The Other Lamb

A girl born into a purely female community, led by a lone man, gradually starts questioning his philosophy and her own reality. The film Another Lamb is a dark horror story about a girl named Selah born into an alternative religious community known as the Flock. This all-female cult of women and girls of different ages, the Sisterhood lives in isolation in an agricultural settlement. They call their leader the Shepherd, and every girl is either his daughter or becomes his lover. Selah, a girl on the cusp of puberty, is a fully devoted follower, but also makes friends with Sarah, a woman shunned for doubting the Shepherd’s teachings. The day will come when Selah will be honoured to take part in the sacred “birth of the lambs” ritual. But the experience changes her forever. She starts having strange visions, which call into question everything the Shepherd and the Sisterhood have taught her…
