In the wild countryside, a former convict is trying to put the past behind him. But then the forests in the area start burning.

Amador returns from prison where he was doing time for arson. He returns to a remote village in the Galician mountains. He tries to live in peace there with his mother, three cows and the surrounding countryside. But then there’s a fire in the region. And everyone knows why Amador was behind bars for the past two years. A drama from the heart of the Spanish wilderness, home to the film’s protagonist and its young director, Oliver Laxe, who at Cannes won the Un certain regard section.
